Google Plus for Brands

I’m really excited about the news of Google Plus opening up to Brands!

It’s fairly similar to Facebook’s Fan Pages (which are used for brands), in that you’re able to maintain a personal profile AND a business profile, all with one log in.

It’s going to be a great tool! You can really see how Google will start using it’s +1 feature to rank pages in Google Searches.

It’s still in it’s early stages, so there are some drawbacks (no analytics, only one admin, no vanity url) but I’m sure Google will add those features with time.
